"New Combination Therapy for Fungal Infections"

Since joining Otago Innovation in 2003, Alex focuses on commercialising therapeutics, diagnostics (biomarkers), and drug discovery screening technologies that have been invented by researchers from the University of Otago. With her PhD in Chemistry and previous roles in Product Management and Sales with Neuraxpharm, a German pharmaceutical company for generic CNS medication, she brings science and commercial experience to the team. Alex is a member of the Executive Board of bioSouth/NZBIO, the American Association of Clinical Chemistry, and the NZ Institute of Medical Laboratory Science.
