Franceska Banga has been Chief Executive of the New Zealand Venture Investment Fund (NZVIF) since 2001.

Franceska has a wide knowledge of Australasian venture capital and private equity markets, through her involvement in the industry over the last nine years and is currently the Chair of the NZ Private Equity and Venture Capital Association.

Previous roles include Chief Strategist for the Ministry of Research, Science and Technology; Director, NZ Treasury; Senior Advisor, Reserve Bank of New Zealand and a Member of the Capital Market Development Taskforce 2008/09.
